I have always enjoyed using technology in my personal life, so the incorporation of it into my professional life was easy. I always strive to find new ways of including technology into my curriculum. Students find lessons enriched with technology more interesting. This leads to more interaction and investment in learning among the students. |
Personal Information
I have been teaching for five years now. I work in a school about 50 miles south of Chicago. I currently teach a mini Language Arts class for 6th-8th graders. Even though I did not land in education right out of high school, I believe it was in my blood and I was destined to become a teacher since both of my parents taught for over 30 years.
I have one son who is going to be a senior in college next year. He is majoring in Bio-Physics and plans on pursuing a masters in Kinesiology or going on to med-school.
In my spare time I enjoy being on my computer....surprise, surprise. I especially like finding new tools for educator use in their classrooms. I also enjoy playing games online, especially ones on Pogo.
